Honestly – I don’t know how it’s already been a month since my last TBR was posted (hello quarantine timeline….)

Since we last spoke I’ve actually listened to four books – though I have not, alas, finished reading A Heart So Fierce And Broken. But I’ve read about a third of it so far, and it’s shaping up to be super great! This upcoming, long holiday weekend is the time for finishing it, I swear!

Even though I’m going through my physical TBR at a slow-moving, almost glacial, pace I have been getting through a decent number of audiobooks! My newest download is The Utterly Uninteresting & Unadventurous Tales of Fred, the Vampire Accountant by Drew Hayes. Jae and Aubrie both loved this one, and I’m still patiently waiting my turn on the waitlist for most of the books I mentioned in my last TBR so I borrowed Fred and figured I would take my turn to get to know him. 😉

I am also next up for Ask Again, Yes by Mary Beth Keane, which Overdrive says will be delivered to me on July 7th. I know very little about this book other than I’ve seen it pop up on social media, and on one of the book-ish Facebook groups I have joined, and that it is about families, growing up and the ways that your memories of things from childhood change when you apply an adult perspective to them.

So – to summarize. Seriously, seriously, if I can put my sewing down for a day or two, I’m really going to get A Heart So Fierce finished this time!

Did Jae’s and Aubrie’s recommendations also prompt you to get to know Fred? Have you read Ask Again, Yes? What are you reading these days? Tell me all about it in the comments!
