It turns out that my week of vacation was a lot less read-y than some previous years have been, but I did get through two of the books on my previous TBR. However, that means I still have quite a bit of carryover for this week.

I’m currently reading The Family Upstairs by Lisa Jewell, which is a super quick read, so far. I’m fully invested and so curious about what the heck is going on and what will happen next! Look out for a possible book review post for this one, it’s definitely intriguing.

Next up on the audio-front will likely be The Princess Will Save You by Sarah Henning. I’ve been listening to audiobooks while working on my cross stitching, but I’ve also been trying to work my way through all of the Marvel movies (I’m sadly, sadly behind and would like to watch both Loki and Wanda Vision, so. You know – priorities 😉

There are also a boatload of upcoming or newly released books I would like to get to, but I’m trying not to make myself crazy with a giant TBR, so I’m going to hold those in my back pocket until I actually get there.

Have you read The Family Upstairs and if so, did you find it to be the kind of page-turning easy read I am finding it to be? What’s on your current TBR pile – whether physical or mental? Let’s talk about it in the comments, below!

  • I haven’t read either and am intrigued by The Family Upstairs.

    3 current/ to be read:
    If by Mark Batterson
The Penderwicks on Gardam Street by Jeannie Birdsall (those Penderwick girls keep me interested!)
Last one is The Gift of Fear by Gavin deBecker…. This one has been a reading/ to read for 3 years now!
