I’ve entered a slower phase of my reading year.

It’s basically the end of the Thanksgiving meal in terms of my reading right now. I gorged myself on so many books this year that I’m slowing down a bit. That is, I’m only reading one book, with just a couple more in the queue, and I have no desire to go get a bunch more. We’ll see how long it lasts.

Without further ado, here is my (unusually short for me) TBR:

Audiobooks

Ethan of Athos and Winterfair Gifts by Lois McMaster Bujold — more entries in the Vorkosigan Saga, and I’m reading them based on the reading order suggested in the blog I mentioned in my post about the series. I’m still really enjoying these books!

Tristan Strong Destroys the World by Kwame Mbalia — the kids and I are enjoying the second book in the Tristan Strong series, which is similar to Percy Jackson but with African gods and folk legends.

Deny All Charges by Eoin Colfer — my library app just gave me the second book in the Fowl Twins series, so as soon as the kids and I are done with Tristan Strong, we have another book ready to go.

Physical books

Girls Save the World in This One by Ash Parsons — yes, this is left over from my last TBR. It’s been three weeks and I haven’t even started it. I told you I was in a bit of a reading slow down. But I have to get it done in the next few weeks because the library only lets you renew so many times.

A Vow so Bold and Deadly by Brigid Kemmerer — one of the reasons I haven’t finished my last TBR is that it got bumped down the list because I’ve been on the wait list for the final book in the Cursebreakers trilogy (which just came out this year), and I picked it up the other day. Excited to find out what happens to the gang.

That’s really it this week. What are you reading right now? Let us know in the comments!
