It’s hard to even think about reading this morning. However, reading can provide us with comfort in times that are difficult. And so here is my TBR for this week:

Physical books

Midwinter Murder: Fireside Tales from the Queen of Mystery by Agatha Christie — I love me some good Agatha Christie short stories. I’m pretty sure I’ve read at least a few of these before, but there’s always more to get from an AC mystery.

The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab — leftover from my last list, still working on it, but about halfway through, and it’s very enjoyable so far.

Audiobooks

The Fowl Twins by Eoin Colfer — this is the middle grade I’ve just begun with the kids. We really enjoyed the Artemis Fowl series, so we’re going to try this spinoff series about his little brothers.

The Prisoner’s Key by C.J. Archer (Glass & Steele book 8) — yep, I’m still working my way through the Glass & Steele series. Each book is pretty similar, but the characters’ relationships and lives move further along in each episode, so I am still enjoying them.

Vow of Deception by C.J. Archer (Ministry of Curiosities book 9) — same author as above, same deal with the books. I’m going to keep enjoying them as long as they’re enjoyable.

The Duke and I by Julia Quinn — yes, I also jumped on the Bridgerton bandwagon (a new Netflix series with FANTASTIC costumes, which seems to me like Regency version of Gossip Girl and I love it). Turns out it’s based on a romance novel by an author I like, so I’m going to read the book.

What are you reading this week?
