Last week I borrowed a bunch of thick books from the library (knowing they’ll be closed for a few weeks). So my TBR stack this week includes:
A Heart so Fierce and Broken by Brigid Kemmerer — I enjoyed the first book, and have been waiting for this one!
The Hod King by Josiah Bancroft — This is book 3 in a quadrilogy, and — confession time — I started it a while back. But I had to take a break from it about 1/3 of the way through, so I’m just getting back to finishing it now.
The Coldest Girl in Coldtown by Holly Black — Saw this on the library shelf and figured I’d give it a try while I wait for the third of Holly Black’s Folk of the Air trilogy to show up in my Overdrive app.
The Light of all that Falls by James Islington — This 800+ page tome is the conclusion to a trilogy I’ve been reading. These books are dense, but the world is very well built and the story is epic.
A Reaper at the Gates by Sabaa Tahir — This is book 3 of a planned quadrilogy (book 4 isn’t out yet). Another very interesting world that I can’t wait to dip my toes back into.
So I’m mostly working through the second or third book in a variety of series over the next few weeks. How about you? What’s on your TBR this week?
