There are only a few books formally on my TBR this week – but the possibilities are endless. šŸ˜‰

Earlier this week I started Stolen Time by Danielle Rollins, which I stumbled upon while scrolling through the ā€œAvailable Nowā€ section of my Libby app. This story kind of hits all of my sweet spots: time travel, historical fiction, probably some romance (and that cover…OMG). So far, the reader is pretty good and I am hopeful that this will be a happy accident of a listen.

I also grabbed a free Kindle download of Something Fabulous by Alexis Hall, which is this month’s book club read. For this one, I have no expectations other than a queer, regency romance. I loved Alexis Hall’s Boyfriend Material, so if nothing else I know I enjoy their writing. Keep an eye out for our book club review of this read, mid-August.

I’m also next-up on the waitlist for The Royal We by Heather Cocks and Jessica Morgan, which comes highly recommended as a fun read, so I’m looking forward to an ā€œAmerican marries into the Royal Familyā€ story.

I’m also on the waitlist for Normal People by Sally Rooney which is a story about coming-of-age and class differences. It’s set in Ireland, so I hope the audiobook narrator does justice to that accent. šŸ˜‰

Have you read any of the books on my current TBR? If so, I’m interested in hearing what you thought! Let’s chat about it in the comments, below.
