This week I find myself on Kelleys Island, in Lake Erie, enjoying a week of socially distanced relaxation and beach reading. My TBR this week is less a true “will be read” as a stack of books I brought with me so that I could have plenty of options to pick from while on the Island. This vacation is always a bit socially distanced for us, and this year, blessedly, the only real change is that we’re doing take out instead of dining in. It’s been glorious, and we still have a few days left to enjoy the sun and the beautiful lake!

So, what’s on my TBR?

The Toll by Neal Schusterman – I’ve been saving this one so I could savor it on the Lake (last summer I read Thunderhead here, so it feels fitting).

Darkdawn by Jay Kristoff – I’ve had a strange relationship with this series, but I’m eager to see how it all ends, so I’m going to give it a go at getting this one off the list this week!

Muse of Nightmares by Laini Taylor – I keep trying to get to this one, and maybe this week is the week I’ll get it done! Part of my hold up on reading this one is I loved Strange the Dreamer so much I was worried it wouldn’t live up to it. 😉

Daisy Jones and the Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid – maybe the reason I keep not getting to Daisy is that she’s a beach read? I’m going to try and find out!

The Kingdom of Back by Marie Lu – This one was on Jae’s list last week – which was fun to see, since I’ve been eying this one since I got it in an OwlCrate. My copy has fancy silver edges 😉 Looking forward to giving this one a try since I’ve never read anything by Marie Lu before.

And of course, since I’m on vacation, I also have a few romance novels on my Kindle, should the need or desire arise 😉

What are you reading this week? What does your vacation reading list look like when you have the opportunity to have a reading vacation? Let me know in the comments!
