This week, I am excited that my hold for Book 5 of the Lady Sherlock series, Murder on Cold Streetby Sherry Thomas, came up! I have really been enjoying these stories because they’re the perfect level of mystery for my taste. They’re interesting without being creepy or gorey, and I absolutely love Charlotte Holmes. In this story, Inspector Tradles is in hot water and it’s up to Charlotte to keep her attention on the case, and not the increasingly romantic overtures from Lord Ingram. I’m looking forward to how this one works out!
I’m also going to prioritize The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse by Charlie Mackesy. My mom gave it to me as part of my Easter basket this year, and she does everything for a reason, so… I’m sure I will cry, because that’s how I am.
Also, because I have very little impulse control, and because I only realized it was out when I did my post last week (and then Jae referenced it in her TBR from last week) I purchased myself a copy of A Vow So Bold and Deadly by Brigid Kemmerer. I will admit, there’s a very good chance it’s going to sit on my shelf until my summer vacation in July, but you never know when the mood will grab me. 😉
I also have 5 Audible credits all of the sudden, so I’m going to do some audiobook shopping soon! Let me know if you’ve read either of the books on my list today, or if you have any recommendations of what audiobook I should grab with my Audible credits!
